There are some ways to reach Cat Ba Island: - Driving 110km from Hanoi to Hai Phong then catch hydrofoil to Cat Ba island
- Driving to Ha Long Bay, take a Express ferry from Tuan Chau Island to Cat Ba.
- Take a package for 2days-1night on boat in Halong Bay then connecting to Cat Ba Island in Gia Luan habour.
